WHY DRAW A SERVICEABLE FOOT?
Start with the ordinary profile. Grey pigeon, folded wing, short legs. Then the section line cuts through the body and the bird becomes a parts list: optics, film, motor, power cell. The drawing is very certain about the bird. I am less certain about the drawing.
The little diagram at the bottom is the problem. Two contact shoes on one wire do not provide the useful voltage difference implied by the circuit sketch. This does not secretly work because it is old. It is a bad circuit drawing.
The missing revision is the issue. Everyone is arguing about revision B while nobody can tell me where revision A went. A bad diagram might be a mistake. It might also be the diagram they were happy for us to find.
Nevertheless, the reference to a contact shoe leads into the handwritten left-foot instruction in the assembly manual, which leads into the contact sheet, which is how i lost the rest of Tuesday. The links are below. You may lose considerably less time.
