SAME FOOT. DIFFERENT CITY.
i originally counted six birds. i now count six photographs. this is an important distinction and i have updated the file accordingly.
photographs. documents. an unreasonable number of coincidences. $PIGEONS
photographic material / technical drawings / things nobody has adequately explained
07 sept — update: assembly photographs added. the bird on the security camera is now in a separate file. these are connected. i have moved nothing else.
assembly room / enlarge & examine
why would you need
that many spare cameras?
i am putting the material here because every time i explain this from the beginning somebody asks about batteries and we lose another afternoon. the batteries have their own page. so does the head. please use the index.
you do not have to agree with the conclusion to LOOK at the photographs.
before you email:
yes. two feet on the same wire do not make a useful circuit. i know. i have written this down now four times.
what interests me is that somebody went to the trouble of drawing contact shoes in the first place.
WHY DRAW A SERVICEABLE FOOT?
and why does the assembly sheet tell the technician to check the left one before release?
related but NOT identical: notebook / wire observations
three words i have not been able to stop thinking about.
the finished object is called a bird. the unfinished object has part numbers. full manual notes
i originally counted six birds. i now count six photographs. this is an important distinction and i have updated the file accordingly.
you can see why i put this in the folder. the camera connection
the fact that there is a bakery underneath has been noted.
this does not explain the timetable. it may explain the timetable. i am keeping both possibilities on the page until i have finished the observations.
frame. hold. step. frame. hold. step.
the question is not whether pigeons stabilize their vision. the question is why the movement looks so much like a very small piece of office equipment.
field note 12 / timing diagrams
please view at normal speed
before slowing it down again.
